Venue

The conference will take place at Umeå Folkets Hus, a meeting facility in the center of Umeå. Walking from the train station takes just 5 minutes and the airport buses, which take visitors to and from the airport in just 15 minutes, stop right outside the door. Surrounded by hotels and restaurants, Umeå Folkets Hus is Nordic Swan Ecolabelled and is conveniently close to the beautiful Umeälven river, which flows into the Bothnian Sea just a few kilometers downstream. Eight hotels are within short walking distance of Folkets Hus, as well as many of the city's restaurants, pubs and shops.

Registration

The registration desk will be at Fokets Hus on the entrance floor, manned and open during the entire conference.
Registration opens on Sunday 26 Oct 18.00-20.00.
Registration on Monday 27 Oct  8.30 -9.45

Accessibility at Umeå Folkets Hus

Umeå Folkets Hus is committed to ensuring that everyone can fully participate in activities within the building. The facility continuously works on improving accessibility, addressing any issues during renovations or upgrades.

• Elevators and Toilets: All floors and rooms are accessible via elevators, and there are adapted toilets available.
• Ramps: Fixed and adjustable ramps are available for stages. Please inform us of your needs when booking to ensure everything is set up correctly.
• Hearing Assistance: Hearing aids are available in all major rooms. Some rooms have fixed hearing loops, while others require a personal receiver, which can be collected from the reception or cloakroom.
